Not Much to Add

I don't have much to say except that I can get a copy of that documentary Unknown, I've seen it online .

Not that much to talk about except time is going fast. It seems 2007 just started and we are already almost in March. I didn't even have the time yet to start on my new year resolutions.
It's so easy to get caught up in the daily routine of things that you forget about the big picture and let situations dictate what you are going to do next instead of making a conscious choice.

So my piece of advice is: take a moment to lick the melon !

Shut Up & Sing

I was actually visiting their web page to search the lyrics of my recent favorite song called, "Not Ready to Make Nice," which I became deeply sympathetic with their contemplation, anger, and struggles for the last 3-4 years.

Anyhow, found an upcoming documentary film... and it definitely looks interesting although I highly doubt I can get it from here though.

If you get a chance, listen to "Not Ready to Make Nice." In the meantime, let me post the lyric. Frustrating to realize nothing can be done about what already happened... but... what would you think?

Frustration leads me to anger, and anger leads me to progression.

There are two identical man statues, as soon as you enter the front gate, located in the middle of the concourse, which supposedly represent Kafka's double identity/life. The museum blew my mind off!! They did not just show the lists of Kafka's belongings, letters, and pictures, but they extremely well-presented his life and work in the form of art. I felt like I was in an art museum. Fantastic installations with blending background music. Will try to share more of it later.

I sent teeth of whale to all of you guys. Who said whales do not have teeth? The one who said it probably do not deserve my present; however,... I am generous.

It's quite traditional in Switzerland. You know "Do Romans do in Rome." Since it's really hard to get teeth of whale, the price is like..."you call it!"

Just in case- how thoughtful of me!- you are out of cash, you can cash the teeth and buy a car, a house, or both. For those of you who do not have friends- for one's privacy, I wouldn't name but YOU should know I am talking about you-can also buy friends. Money can do everything! And if you spent it all, don't worry! I will prepare Dolphin's teeth next year, which is even more valuable.

It was a White Valentine's

During breakfast another intern called me to check my car because his was underneath allot of ice and it would take forever to get to work.
After finishing my croissant and french latte I headed outside and was met with this warning.
Okay, so I will be carefull then. Upon looking on my car it didnt seem that bad as the usual white stuff from the heavens was resting on my transportation mobile.

I took my first steps towards my vehicle and noticed a loud cracking sound and my feet dissapearing into the white abyss.
Hmm, rather peculiar I thought by myself. After brushing off most of the snow of my windshield I noticed someone must have taken my wipers for they were not there. But upon closer inspection I noticed they were frozen solid in a chunck of ice on my windshield.I brushed off al the remaining snow of my car looked back at my car one more time before heading back inside for a nice cup or Early Grey Tea.

Its still the 13th here so not much to share.
Actually the big talk around the office is not upcoming valentine's day but the big snow storm.
But no matter what store you go in here in the US you cannot avoid valentine's day. Valentine's day burrito's, Valentine's day headache medicine, Valentine's day unleaded gas, even boxes of chocolate for Valentine's day, can you imagine ?

Time is Up

I have my second photography class tonight. And we have to submit a picture for the class to review, so they project it on a big screen. I took some shots this past weekend but nothing really special. So I just submitted this one and I just got an email from the teacher saying he loved it !!
Yay !!

I wonder what motivation Nasung needs to write a post on this blog.
I offer anything she wants, what ever item she wants from the one dollar store.
No limitations. Any one item.

I really like that first sentence. It is so easy to fall into a routine and just do whatever everybody else and society expects from you. Live like everybody else. Shop like everybody else. But you have to create you own way, your own life and not listen to others since it is your own life and in your own hands. So question everything especially your own actions.

Should have done it a looooong time ago. I can't believe I am still up. Do you see my enthusiasm and contemplation on this blogspot? Done too much. Really off to bed.

I wish I had energy to pick up my camera and take a picture of the mess on my floor - I am sitting on my bed, eating/peeling lots of tangerines, and throwing the rind all over the floor.

Hope it's all cleaned up when I open my eyes tomorrow - ugh... afternoon?

Last couple of months of mine has been pretty empty and still. Now, let's see how much I can be invigorated to move forward.

Anyway, I had my first advanced photography class yesterday at Cranberry Community College and it was interesting. There was a big amount of housewives and a very enthusiastic teacher. His passion for photography was very contagious and I like his vision of photo's being interesting in the aspect that they are unique. If you stand in 1 spot and take a picture of the Eiffel Tower, thats something every decent photographer could replicate but snapping the same shot while focusing on some tourist girl eating an ice cream or timing it with a rainbow makes the shot unique and worthwhile.

But I like the fact that being around a certain kind of people influences you if you want to or not. If you are around people at work who complain all the time and are negative you will slowly become so to, however unwilling. And passion, happiness, creativity can be very contagious.

anyhow.. another slow saturday.. went to the dentist.. spending time with my 'rents...and watching loads of "ugly betty"... it's soooo good!

It is cold here. Snow used to be something special, not often seen. But now it is everywhere, from the moment I step out the door and slip to my car to getting out of the office and brushing the snow from my car. It does make look everything different though which is refreshing.
